This WEB publication is taken from a multimedial application and is part of a project on the review of some technical problems regarding the nuraghi, by means of computer studies and multimedial technologies.
This study is divided in various chapters. An analysis is carried out of the periods preceeding the Nuraghic age and of similiar monuments both in Sardinia as well as in the Mediterrančan basin; of the significance, the types and building techniques of the nuraghi , of the "Su Nuraxi" in Barumini by means of detailed study of the quadrilobes; of the exavations thanks to the historical photos belonging to Prof. Giovanni Lilliu, director of the exavation works.
The results of this study have produced multimedial and audiovisual posts, a permanent exhibition put up in the Santa Tecla church of Barumini, a peripatetic exhibition and some publications(CD-ROM, VHS Videocassette, Catalog, Brochure and Poster)
